Top Tips to Writing the Perfect Project

Writing a project can be a daunting task, even more so when this project needs to be written in a second language. We have many years of experience in helping our students to write projects that will see you displaying all of the skills you have obtained.

To help you understand how to write a project you will be proud of, we have broken down our advised processes. Remember that the Tellus College team are always on-hand to offer expert support on how to manage your project journey.

Read the Guide

The first step is to read and comprehend the guide published by the EU Commission on the Erasmus+ 2020 Call to understand you understand the funding rules and eligibility criteria for your chosen activity. Find the link to the guide by clicking here.

The guide is also available in your country language.

Research and generate a Project Idea

Finding an original project idea requires some research and some brainstorming. But mainly it should cover 2 key areas: a. what is the need/ issue of your school and b. how does the project present a solution to it

Keep in mind that successful KA1 mobility project should be based on the real educational needs of the school and staff and must be relevant to the action objectives and priorities of the school.

Do some research in THE ERASMUS+ RESULTS PLATFORM ( ) of your country where you can search for any type of project, using the keyword that best describes your project idea

Are you Eligible?

Check the Guide and contact the National Agency in your country whether your organisation is eligible for Erasmus+ funding.

Study carefully the 4 main assessment criteria and make sure that your project ticks highly on:

  • The relevance of the project– WHAT you want to do in the project and WHY
  • Quality of the project design and implementation
  • Quality of the partnership and the cooperation arrangements
  • Impact, dissemination and sustainability
